The very deserving winner in the business blog category was Kieran from www.icecreamireland.com, with his delicious recipes for ice cream and hot fudge sauce, amongst others. Congratulations again Kieran!

Huge thanks must go to Damien Mulley, the Blog Awards organiser. Damien has a ‘real job’ and organises the awards on a completely voluntary basis, and I can only stand in admiration of his energy. The event was fantastic, with around 300 attendees, bar, DJ and both real and virtual dancing. Rick O’Shea presented the awards.

We met all but one of the other finalists in the business blog category – Conor, Damian, Kieran and Krishna – so we can now put faces to names. Brian, where were you? Conor won the award in the ‘best blog post’ category for a post on his non-business blog, and was understandably delira and excira about it – well done again Conor! The six of us in the business blog category recorded a podcast on 1st March, and talked about what blogging is, why we started blogging for business, benefits we have seen for our businesses and things we wish we’d known before we started!
